A meaningful piece created for a personal milestone.
Creating a bespoke piece is a personal process, and it means a great deal to us to be trusted with such meaningful moments.
We would love to hear about your idea. Share as much or as little as you have so far — whether that is a clear design vision or just the beginning of an idea.
Helpful details can include your preferred gemstone, metal type, budget range, ideal timeline, and whether you would like to create something from scratch or customise one of our existing designs.
Not at all. Many of our customers start with just an idea, a feeling, or a little inspiration. We can guide you through the entire process, from choosing a gemstone to refining the design, to create something that feels right for you.
You are welcome to share whatever you have, wether a Pinterest board, a rough description, a photo of something you love, or just a sentence about the occasion. If you are not sure where to begin, that is completely fine. Many of the pieces we create start as "I am not sure what I want, but I know it should feel like…" and we take it from there together.
Our bespoke pieces typically start from around AU$1,500 for fine jewellery and from around AU$3,000 for engagement rings. Final pricing depends on the gemstone, design complexity, and metal choice, and we will always confirm a full quote before any production begins.
Most clients invest somewhere in the middle of the range rather than at the starting point, depending on the central gemstone and whether they choose an Australian sapphire, an opal, or a diamond. If you have a specific budget in mind, you are very welcome to share it in your enquiry — we can then tailor the gemstone and design options to suit. There is no obligation to proceed after seeing the quote.
From first enquiry to completion, most bespoke pieces take around 10–12 weeks.
This usually includes:
If you have a specific date in mind, please let us know in your enquiry and we will advise what is possible.
This situation is very rare because our process is designed to prevent it. Nothing goes into production until you have seen and approved the design in writing. You review sketches, gemstone options, and details at every stage, so the final piece is something you have already shaped and signed off on.
Before any metal is cut or stone is set, we share detailed sketches and, where helpful, realistic renders so you can see exactly what your piece will look like. You are welcome to ask for refinements at any point during the design phase. Only once you are fully happy do we begin production. This is the main reason bespoke feels so personal — by the time your piece is being made, it is already unmistakably yours.
Yes. We work with natural Australian sapphires and opals, as well as ethically sourced diamonds and coloured gemstones. Every stone we offer is chosen for its provenance as well as its beauty, and we can share sourcing details for any gemstone you are considering.
Australian sapphires are mined responsibly in Queensland, and our opals come from fields including Lightning Ridge. For diamonds, we can offer traceable natural stones or lab-grown options depending on your preference.
We will curate options for you based on your preferences, budget, and values.
Yes. Many of our bespoke commissions begin with one of our existing designs as a starting point. We can adapt elements such as the gemstone, metal, proportions, or finishing details to create a piece that feels uniquely yours while keeping the essence of the original design.
This is often the easiest way to begin if you love something you have already seen but want it refined for your story, your finger, or your partner. Let us know in your enquiry which design you are drawn to, and we can discuss which elements are adjustable and how far the customisation can go.
Yes to both. We regularly work with customer-supplied gemstones and redesign heirloom pieces into something new to be worn and treasured. Please include details or photos in your enquiry, and we can advise on the best approach for your specific stone or piece.
For a supplied gemstone, we will assess the cut, condition, and suitability for the design you have in mind, and let you know honestly if anything needs to be done before it can be set. For heirloom redesigns, we can work with your existing gemstones — diamonds, sapphires, or other stones — and create a new setting around them.
Please note that we create all bespoke pieces using new refined metal rather than melting down existing jewellery, as this ensures the integrity, durability, and finish of the final piece.
There are a few reliable ways to find your partner's ring size without giving the surprise away.
The most accurate is to borrow a ring they already wear on the correct finger and have it measured, or trace its inner circle on paper and send us a photo.
Other options include: comparing the ring to a friend's finger if they share a similar size, asking a family member who might know.
If you are still unsure, we can size slightly conservatively and offer a complimentary resize after the proposal. So you can focus on the moment rather than the measurement.
Just let us know in your enquiry that it is a surprise, and we will guide you through the options.
We operate exclusively online and guide every bespoke commission through email, phone, and shared images. This allows us to work with clients anywhere in Australia with the same care and attention as an in-person consultation, and we have found it gives many clients more time and flexibility to consider each decision.
Throughout the process you will receive detailed sketches, gemstone photographs, and production updates, so you are never left wondering what is happening with your piece. If you have questions at any point, we are available by emails. Many of our clients tell us the online process felt more personal than they expected, because every detail is documented and considered, not rushed.
Yes. We ship bespoke jewellery to clients across Australia using fully insured, signature-on-delivery courier services. Your piece is securely packaged, tracked throughout transit, and insured for its full value until it is safely in your hands.
We coordinate delivery to a time and address that works for you, and can accommodate requirements such as delivery to a workplace if a home delivery is not convenient for a surprise. Once your piece is ready, we will confirm the dispatch details with you before it leaves our studio, and you will receive tracking information so you know exactly when to expect it.
You are involved at every major decision point in your bespoke piece. You will see design sketches, gemstone options, and details during the design phase, and you will receive production updates and final photographs before dispatch, so there are no surprises along the way.
The typical cadence looks like this: after your initial enquiry, we share gemstone options and an early design direction within the first week or two. Once you approve the direction, we refine the design into detailed sketches or renders for your sign-off. During the 7 to 8 week production phase, we share progress updates at key milestones if you'd like to see how your piece is coming along. This is often including photos of the gemstone being set or the final piece before polishing. Before dispatch, we share a final video so you can see your finished piece. You are welcome to ask questions or request refinements at any stage — the process is a conversation, not a handover.
Whether you have a clear vision or just the beginning of an idea, we would love to hear from you. Share your inspiration and the details that matter most to you, and we will guide you from there.
